Stealth BJJ Cheshire has teamed up with Cheshire Combat Academy to bring an exciting range of Kickboxing and MMA classes to our facility in Runcorn.

Nate Enright, the head coach at Cheshire Combat Academy is both an experienced figther and coach with a wealth of knowledge. Nate has created a friendly, hard-working, no-egos amosphere within CCA – very much in line with the principles we have at Stealth BJJ Cheshire.

The partnership offers a unique opportunity for members to gain access to BJJ, Kickboxing and MMA training under one roof. Our dual membership costs just £99, offering incredible value for money and convenience.

This is the perfect chance for beginners to dive head first into a welcoming Martial Arts environment as well as the ideal opportunity for our existing members to expand upon their BJJ training to improve their fitness levels and become a more well rounded Martial Artist .

No, you do not need a gi or nogi gear to get started at Stealth BJJ Cheshire. The gym provides loan gis for beginners which will enable you to train even if you do not have your own – nogi training just requires a pair of shorts(without zips or pockets, please) and a t-shirt!

Additionally, the gym has a partnership with Progress Jiu Jitsu, and they offer discounted orders on a range of high-quality BJJ gear for all levels to our members. This partnership ensures that all students have access to suitable attire for their training. Therefore, whether you are a beginner or an experienced pro, you will have the necessary gear to learn and improve upon your jiu jitsu skills. 

Absolutely not.

You are welcome to wear any whatever gi or nogi gear, regardless of brand, colour or affiliation – so long as it is safe.

Although not mandatory and you are under no pressure whatsoever to do so – Progress Jiu Jitsu offers an official Stealth BJJ gear which you can purchace through the club at a discounted rate and we do occasionally produce club nogi sets and patches which you are welcome to put on your own gi if you want represent on the mats!

No! We welcome people of all ages from 4 years upwards. We have classes for infants, juniors, teens and even masters (the older folks!)

We have members ranging from single digits right through to the 60s! 

No former experience is necessary and all levels of fitness can enjoy learning BJJ. In our case,  we train as a team and all levels are welcome to train with us.  We encourage all our students to help develop other students, that way we get better as a whole. ​

Fitness level is usually not a problem for new students joining – BJJ is a great way to improve your physical and mental fitness.

However, if you have health conditions or injuries that may limit your physical activity, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any exercise routine, including BJJ.
