Head Coach Alex was promoted to Black Belt on February 19, 2023, by Stealth BJJ Head Coach Steve Campbell after 13 years on the mats.
Although his BJJ journey began later in life at the age of 35, Alex competed throughout his time at White, Blue, and Purple Belt on the UK Comp circuit, picking up some notable titles along the way, such as the English Open in 2015, the IBJJF Nationals Gold, and British Masters Gold in 2017. In 2018, he took Gold at the IBJJF London Winter Open, along with an absolute Bronze and a Silver at the British Masters.
In 2018, Alex made the decision to change his career path by focusing fully on becoming a full-time Coach and turning Cheshire BJJ into a full-time club, giving its existing and future members the opportunity to spend more quality time on the mats.
Whether you want to compete, get fit, or just make new friends and engage in a new hobby, Alex and his coaching team tailor their coaching to your needs. The main goals for the Coaching team are to ensure everyone who passes through our door feels welcome, and while amidst all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, everyone has fun during their time on the mats with us.
There’s a great vibe about the place as we work towards helping everyone we can, both physically and mentally.
